रत्न एवं रुद्राक्ष Gemstone & Rudraksha

There is no single stone that falls out of a birth chart. The classical rules point at different grahas in almost every chart, so this page shows you each one — which rule it comes from, and where tradition itself says to be careful.

Why the rules disagree, what the cautions mean, and what this page will not do

Why the rules disagree. Each tradition keys the stone to a different point in the chart — the lord of the lagna, the lord of the 9th, the lord of the rashi your Moon occupies, the lord of your janma nakshatra, or the lord of the mahadasha you are running. Those are different grahas in almost every chart. Checked across all 1296 combinations of lagna, Moon rashi and nakshatra lord, the rules land on a single graha in none of them, and point at 3.4 different grahas on average. A page showing you one stone would be showing one school and quietly hiding the rest.

What the caution means. Every graha except the Sun and Moon owns two rashis, so the graha a rule selects often also owns your 6th, 8th or 12th house — the three houses classical texts say not to strengthen. That happens in 87% of charts for at least one of the rules, which is why the caution is printed on the recommendation itself rather than buried in a footnote. It is the single most useful thing on this page.

Substitutes are listed on purpose. Traditional practice accepts an upratna — a lesser stone of the same graha — and they cost a fraction of the primary. Nobody needs to spend a great deal of money to follow this tradition.

What this page will not do. It makes no claim about health, illness, or any medical or remedial outcome. It sells nothing, names no seller, and takes no commission. If a shop quotes you one rule as though it were the only one, this page is the check on that.

Consult a person, not a page. A real recommendation weighs graha strength, dignity, aspects and the running dasha together, and that is a conversation with someone who reads the whole chart.
